Opposition seeks to chair COPE, COPA
Chief Opposition Whip Lakshman Kiriella pressed for the government to offer chairmanships of two parliamentary committees- the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) and the Committee on Public Accounts (COPA) - to the opposition as agreed at the party leaders’ meeting.
