A group of farmers in Naula of the Matale district have successfully cultivated vegetables such as   Knol khol with organic fertilizer. Farmer Y.G. Somapala, 64, says he has reported a bumper crop without any hassle by applying only organic   inputs. However, he is concerned that there is no mechanism to purchase the produce from cultivators like him   despite their success.   He also said that it was a fallacy that hybrid vegetable seeds could not be grown without chemical inputs.  By   Indika Aruna Kumara- Naula
