The Ceylon Bank Employees’ Union (CBEU) yesterday staged a protest opposite People’s Bank head office against the proposed recruitment of employees by the new government to the 3 state banks namely, Bank of Ceylon, People’s Bank and National Savings Banks. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is scheduled to handover the letters of appointment to new recruits today at the Temple Trees
