Abans debenture issue postponed to 10 December

The debenture issue of Abans PLC, which was to open today (2 December) has been postponed, a disclosure to the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) said.

Abans PLC announced that the company has decided to postpone the debenture issue opening date to 10 December 2024. Revised is also the issue size.

Accordingly, Abans will issue up to three million (3,000,000) listed, rated, unsecured, senior, redeemable debentures. The revised document is expected to be made available in due course.

Abans was to issue 10 million listed, rated, unsecured, senior, redeemable, 5-year debentures at a par value of Rs. 100 each bearing a fixed interest rate of 13 percent per annum payable annually (AER 13 percent) with an option to issue up to an equal amount at the discretion of the company in the event of an over-subscription of the initial issue.
