BOI-Queen’s Hospital ink US $ 2.04mn agreement to establish new paediatric facility

The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) recently signed an agreement worth US $ 2.04 million with Queen’s Hospital, to establish a 14-bed paediatric hospital.
The new facility will be built in Dehiwala, Colombo, according to the BOI, which announced the investment this week on its official social media account X (formerly Twitter).
“Sri Lanka’s human capital indicators are among the best in South Asia. It is heartening to see a continued commitment to healthcare,” the BOI commented on the new venture with the private healthcare brand.
The agreement for the investment was exchanged between the officials from the BOI and Queen’s Hospital, on the BOI premises in Colombo.
Further updates on the project are expected as the agreement moves forward with the implementation.
