Brown and Company yesterday announced it has acquired 100 percent shareholding of Isin Lanka (Private) Limited from its former shareholders on 24 September 2024.

The acquisition took place for a total consideration of Rs. 1,495,000,000, it said in a filing to the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).Isin Lanka (Private) Limited will facilitate the warehouse operations of Browns Group and will improve Brown and Company PLC’s and its subsidiaries’ operational efficiency by increasing their manufacturing and warehousing capacity, the disclosure stated.
