The scope includes calibration of calipers, external micrometers, circular sample cutters, steel rulers, dial gauges, thickness gauges, crock meters, balances, weights, glassware, piston operated pipettes, refractometers, hydrometers, pH meters, thermometers, cold refrigerated storages, ovens, incubators, water baths, furnaces and RPM of rotors among many others.
“We are thrilled to expand our services to now include calibration. This much anticipated and timely initiative not only fills a crucial gap in the market but also provides brands and organisations access to internationally trusted calibration services that are tested and proven time and again,” said General Manager Harsha Wanasinghe.
The high precision results through qualified technical leads and reputed class-one equipment at Bureau Veritas in Sri Lanka assures one the utmost quality, speed and flexibility. Calibration of equipment is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and reliability of measurements, as it ensures that the instrument’s readings align with established standards. Over time, factors such as wear, environmental conditions and usage can lead to deviations in instrument performance.
Bureau Veritas helps its clients improve their performance by offering services and innovative solutions in order to ensure that their assets, products, infrastructure and processes meet standards and regulations in terms of quality, health and safety, environmental protection and social responsibility.
Senior Manager Business Development Sidath Wimalananda added, “Calibration services are a proactive and preventive measure that helps brands maintain the highest standards of accuracy, compliance and quality across their operations, which in turn contributes to their overall efficiency, stakeholder value and brand credibility and we aim to be an integral part of their journey.”
