CCC sets record straight on media statements relating to CBSL policies

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) said it is in no way connected to or involved with the statements recently attributed to ‘The Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce’ regarding the directives issued by the Finance Deputy Minister and Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).

“We also confirm that no employee or representative of the Ceylon Chamber was involved in the media report or the statements made during the referenced press briefing,” it said in a statement. Any official views or positions of the Ceylon Chamber are communicated directly by the authorised representatives through its established channels, the chamber asserted.
