In celebrating the 60th anniversary of Sri Lanka’s number one brand in men’s shirts, Emerald is offering its loyal customers cash prizes worth Rs.6 million when purchasing an Emerald shirt.
Founded in 1956, Emerald celebrates 60 years of expertise in the shirt industry this year under the theme ‘Emerald Ideology’.
Emerald Managing Director A.F.M. Ikram said that he firmly believes that the Sri Lankan male deserves nothing but the best and focuses on quality, reliability and innovation to create shirts that meet their own exacting standards.

“We make 150,000 shirts for the local and international market each month and all Emerald products are manufactured under strict quality control guidelines in line with international standards. Emerald uses the best of embellishments and raw material in its products to ensure its customers get the best of quality in every Emerald shirt they purchase,” he said.
During the ‘Win With Emerald’ campaign, the customer has to SMS the given code in the scratch card, which would come with the shirt purchased, and then instantly the customer will be informed about the results. The winners will be able to purchase Emerald shirts up to the amount they have won.
Emerald manufactures a diverse range of products including woven shirts, T-shirts, inner wear, formal trousers and accessories for local and international markets. Emerald represents world-renowned fashion labels such as Crocodile and runs its ‘Shirtworks’ retail outlets while being represented by the largest dealership network in the country.
