Adam Ashcroft delivers an inspiring session on ‘Unlocking the Potential of Young Talent’

Great Place to Work Sri Lanka recently held its highly anticipated CXO Forum under the theme ‘The future of work is now’, bringing together key industry leaders to discuss the rapid changes shaping the workplace of tomorrow. 

The forum explored how organisations can adapt to this new reality, with discussions on evolving workforce expectations and the critical need for businesses to remain competitive and capable of attracting and retaining top talent in an ever-evolving global landscape.


In her welcome address, Great Place to Work Sri Lanka Director/CEO Kshanika Ratnayaka emphasised the significance of the moment.

“The face of the future is happening right now and you are at the forefront of this evolution, shaped by young talent— the future is here.” 

Adam Ashcroft, a renowned business coach, delivered an inspiring session on ‘Unlocking the Potential of Young Talent’. He highlighted young professionals as the driving force behind innovation, praising their adaptability, tech-savviness and social consciousness. Ashcroft urged leaders to create collaborative, open environments that empower young employees to voice their opinions, contribute ideas, take initiative and explore creative solutions to challenges.

He further emphasised the need for structured development programmes with clear career paths to unlock the potential of young professionals. His message was clear: organisations must recognise and nurture this untapped talent to drive growth and development.

A panel discussion followed on ‘Emerging Leaders Shaping the Future of Work’. The panellists included AB MAURI Lanka Country Director Surajdeen Seiyed, Insighture Co-Founder and Director Operations Charith De Silva and Uzabase Sri Lanka Associate Director Culture and Talent Acquisition Safiyyah Nawaz. The panel was moderated by Dialog Axiata PLC Group Chief Customer Officer Sandra De Zoyza.
