KPMG appoints Raddella as a Principal for KPMG in Sri Lanka



KPMG in Sri Lanka, a member firm of the KPMG network of independent member firms has appointed Hasitha Raddella as a Principal of the firm with effect from 01 July 2024.

Hasitha has over 29 years of experience in tax and advises clients on a wide range of tax matters, including analysis on tax legislation and case law, inbound and outbound investments, mergers and acquisitions, and implementing solutions.

During his career, he spent more than nine years working with foreign offices of big four firms, advising multinationals and businesses on tax and Transfer Pricing matters. His extensive international experience spans Qatar, the United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, and the United 
Arab Emirates.

Hasitha is a frequent speaker at Tax and Transfer Pricing seminars in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. His academic contributions include serving as a visiting lecturer on Tax and Transfer Pricing at Sri Lankan universities and institutions, such as the Post Graduate Institute of Management. Additionally, he has been an active member of the Taxation Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.

Hasitha is actively involved in the continuous development of the Transfer Pricing unit of KPMG in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. His efforts include developing robust policies, training professionals and tax officials, and collaborating with tax administrations to create efficient administrative processes.

Hasitha is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka.
