Sri Lanka hosted its first-ever Junior Chef’s Culinary Competition, organised by the Professional Chefs Association.
Held at Sahas Uyana in Kandy, this event marked a significant milestone in nurturing the rising stars of the culinary industry, offering young talents the platform to showcase their skills and passion.
The competition brought together aspiring chefs from across the country, who competed in a variety of categories within the hospitality sector. From cocktail and mocktail making to the intricate art of cooking, baking, salad making, and even the challenging craft of ice sculpting, the event celebrated the diversity and creativity within the culinary arts. These young chefs demonstrated exceptional talent, with their innovative approaches and dedication reflecting the bright future of Sri Lanka’s culinary industry.
