‘Managing Additives and Adulterants in Food Industry’ seminar today



The Institute of Food Science and Technology Sri Lanka is rolling out the industry seminar on ‘Managing Additives and Adulterants in the Food Industry’, at the Profood Propack Agbiz Knowledge Hub 2024 exhibition today. 
The seminar will be held at the Mihilaka Medura (BMICH) from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and will feature a distinguished line-up of industry experts. The esteemed personalities are:

  • Food Additives, Food Adulterants and Food Safety, Prof. Eresha Mendis
  • Food Additives: Purpose and Correct Usage, Dr. Sumudu Warnakulasuriya
  • Food Additives: Regulatory Requirements, Prof. K.K.D.S.  Ranaweera
  • Food Adulterants in Raw Materials: Common Types, Identification and Control, Prof. Ilmi Hewajulige
