Penteng celebrates 30 years in business

Penteng Private Limited  formerly known as ‘Penthouse  Engineers’ says it is excited to  celebrate30 years in business  marking a significant milestone  in the business of providing  quality and reliable engineering  services.  Since our modest beginnings  in 1993, the company have  striven to provide residential  and commercial engineering  solutions maintaining high  s t a n d a r d s , f r o m p r o j e c t  conception to completion.  “On this journey, we have  developed strong relationships  with the private and public  sectors as well as the local  communities in which we  operate; making our business  an integral part of the growth of  the construction industry in Sri  Lanka.

We have also ventured  into regional marketsand  h a v e c o m p l e t e d s e v e r a l  commercial and public sector  projectsin the Maldives.  Penteng Private Limited  is a long-standing member  of the National Construction  Association in Sri Lanka  and is graded under “C3” by  the Construction Industry  Development Authority. As an  ISO9001-certified business,  we maintain fully equipped  workshop with highly skilled  workerswho specialise in areas  including the operation of  heavy machinery, heavy steel  fabrication, shearing bending  and rolling of steel.  On this special occasion, the  company honours the memory  of the late Neil Fernando who  served as Chairman from year  1993 to 2021 whose dedication  and business acumen have  deeply impacted the firm’s  strategic direction over the  years.  Managing Director, Rohan  Samarasinghe, has been with  Penteng since its inception and  continues to be the driving force  of its future. His background  as a mechanical engineer and  40 plus years of experience in  the Engineering industry make  him an invaluable asset to the  continued growth of the business.  Commenting on Penteng’s 30th anniversary he said,“ We are  extremely proud of achieving  this significant milestone despite  the recent global and economic  uncertainties that have affected  many industries across the  board,and we look forward  to celebrating our continued  success with our outstanding  employees and loyal partners  who make it possible to deliver  quality solutions using today’s  most innovative construction  technologies.
