Royal Nursing Home honoured at People’s Excellency Awards

Royal Nursing Home Private Limited was honoured as Sri Lanka’s Best Healthcare Provider for 2024 at the People’s Excellency Awards recently. 

The award was presented to Operations Managers Kushini Kumarasinghe and Ruwanthi Fernando during a ceremony held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo.

Established in 2007 with just 25 staff members, Royal Nursing Home has grown to become Sri Lanka’s largest nursing care provider. 

It operates luxury care service centres in Maharagama, Mount Lavinia, Kaduwela, Hanwella, and in London. 

With a dedicated team of over 1,200 medical officers, matrons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, the company aims to extend its care services to more than 50,000 people by the end of 2025.

Royal Nursing Home’s nursing care facilities and ambulance services are approved by the Private Health Services Regulatory Council of Sri Lanka and adhere to the standards set by the Ministry of Health. 

The company, which has received numerous awards and quality certifications both locally and internationally, is the first and only care service provider in Sri Lanka to achieve the ISO 9001:2015 international quality certification.
