IHEAL Health Sdn Bhd, a leading healthcare provider based in Malaysia, has officially entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with SITREK Home Nursing & Swift Care (Pvt.) Ltd, a prominent home nursing services provider in Sri Lanka.
This partnership aims to transform healthcare accessibility in Sri Lanka by introducing innovative telemedicine solutions through IHEAL’s MyPocketDoc platform.
The collaboration will integrate MyPocketDoc into SITREK’s home care services, facilitating remote consultations and improving patient care across the country. This technology is expected to bridge healthcare gaps, offering patients access to urgent care regardless of location. Additionally, the partnership will foster medical tourism, enabling Sri Lankan patients to access diagnostic tests and treatments at IHEAL’s advanced facilities in Malaysia.
Set to commence in the fourth quarter of 2024, the partnership represents a significant step forward in improving healthcare delivery in Sri Lanka. The partnership plans to roll out pilot programmes in key regions of Sri Lanka within the next six months. These programmes will focus on teleconsultations, remote monitoring solutions, AI-assisted healthcare advisory. Following the pilot phase, a nationwide launch is anticipated, with continuous upgrades to the platform based on user feedback and technological advancements.
