The National Sales Awards (NSA) 2024 organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) has reached a record-breaking milestone in receiving the highest number of entries thus far. It surpassed 1 000 submissions showcasing the constant growth in trust as well as enthusiasm among the sales fraternity for a robust industry excellence with the wider range of categories among those over 1 000 entries which further has given further appeal for the event. SLIM’s National Sales Awards is a single but phenomenal effort towards fostering innovation and industry excellence which also has contributed to the increased engagement. Gayan Perera, President, Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing expressed, “The enthusiasm of the marketing fraternity is reflected through the number of entries that SLIM National Awards has received this year. It also reinforces the efforts that SLIM has taken for marketing excellence, through which we have been able to retain trust among these professionals. It is absolutely remarkable.” Dilhan Sampath Jayatilleke, Vice President - Events and Sustainability at Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing, described, “National Sales Awards is the only National Awards Ceremony in Sri Lanka which recognises the Sales Professionals. Achieving the Highest Number of Entries go on to show the recognition that the organisations want the Sales Professionals to possess. Winning at NSA is the greatest achievement in the career of any Salesperson and the standards that SLIM is maintaining makes it the most wanted achievement for both individuals and organizations alike.”
