Wayamba University signs MoU with CFA Society Sri Lanka



Present at the occasion were Wayamba University of Sri Lanka Vice Chancellor Prof. Udith K. Jayasinghe, Business Studies and Finance Faculty Dean Prof. S.K. Gamage and Wayamba University of Sri Lanka Registrar W.A. Don Chithrananda. CFA Society Sri Lanka President Rashmi Peiris Paranavitane, CFA, Board Member and University Outreach Committee Chair Nuwan Jayawardana and CEO Aruna Alwis graced the occasion

The Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, represented by the Banking and Finance Department, Faculty of Business Studies and Finance, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CFA Society Sri Lanka recently on the University premises in Kuliyapitiya.


This strategic partnership aims to foster a long-term collaborative relationship focused on promoting ethical standards and industry best practices advocated by the CFA Institute. The MoU seeks to enhance academic and professional development through initiatives such as career mentorship programmes, guest lectures by industry experts and knowledge-sharing sessions designed to improve the employability and marketability of graduates.
