CIC’s stationery brand, CIAL recently launched its new logo at the 14th edition of the Colombo International Book Fair 2015 (CIBF).
CIAL also showcased its diverse range of writing instruments at the fair, which was held at the BMICH and saw the attendance of Chief Guests Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and Minister of Education, Akila Viraj Kariyawasam. Renowned for being one of the most popular and largest book fairs in Asia, CIBF featured 400 stalls of which 40 were run by international publishers.
CIAL is a local brand that has supported both students and professionals in Sri Lanka for 45 years. CIAL’s entire range of ball point pens are manufactured at the company’s factory in Piliyandala and over the decades the company has continuously delivered safe, durable, high-quality writing instruments that incorporate the use of British technology.
Commenting on CIAL’s new logo, Nisrin Ali, General Manager –Marketing and Head of Business-Stationery , CIC Holdings PLC stated, “We are immensely proud that we were able to launch our new logo at the prestigious Colombo International Book Fair. The CIAL stall at the Colombo International Book Fair was patronized by many children, youth and even older generations who have been using CIAL for over 40 years. Many people who visited the stall have used the CIAL brand of pens throughout their academic and professional careers, and they were excited to see the brands new look, logo and updated portfolio of products.
