IWW Steel Chairman being handed over with the SLS 375:2009 standard certificate awarded for the company’s product RS QST RB 500 steel wire by the Sri Lanka Standard Institute


IWW Steel Pvt Ltd, one of the leading steel wire manufacturing companies in Sri Lanka received SLS 375:2009 standard certificate awarded by the Sri Lanka Standard Institute for its product RS QST RB 500 steel wire. 

The certificate was handed over to the IWW Steel Chairman by the manager of the company at a function held at the company premises. 

RS QST RB 500 steel wire is made to international standards with the best quality iron billets imported from China and India with latest technology and chemicals to add extra strength.

Speaking of the standard certificate awarded to the company IWW Steel Chairman said, “We started manufacturing steel wires very recently thus it is significant this SLS certificate was awarded to our company. SLS certificate endorsed RS QST RB 500 steel wire product as one of Sri Lanka’s best quality products. This certificate also means our product is in line with international standards. We use best raw material and strengthening material in the world to manufacture RS QST RB 500 steel wire. 

State-of-the-art machinery is used to manufacture the product with constant monitoring done by local and foreign experts. To check endurance and strength of the steel wires random check are done as a practice. Also research is done constantly to add more value to all our products”.
