At the heart of the new NIKON D7200 is a 24.2 MP DX-Format CMOS sensor with a powerful EXPEED 4 image processing engine. The 24.2 MP CMOS sensor guarantees high quality images, accurate color gradations and an excellent clarity with its enhanced sensitivity range of ISO 100 - 25600.  

In comparison to predecessor, D7200 has upgraded the internal image processor same as full frame cameras which ensures an improved continuous shooting buffer capacity, and it was one of the main limitations of the predecessor.

In terms of video recording, EXPEED 4 engine enables full high definition video recording 1920 x 1080p at up to 6 fps (can be boosted to 7fps) in the 1.3x camera’s crop mode. Autofocus is taken care by advanced Multi-CAM 3500-II system which utilizes 2,016-pixel RGB sensor. This is the Nikon’s foremost DSLR model that comprises both Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity, and it facilitates users to quickly share photos via simple linking of other smart devises.
