Offering a wide collection of furniture and accessories to cater outdoor needs, Rainco, a leading brand for rainwear in South Asia opened its flagship store, ‘World of Outdoor’ (WOO) in Colombo recently.

The store located at No: 185, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 4 offers teak furniture, rattan furniture, fabric furniture, artificial grass, hammocks, cushions, outdoor lights, camping accessories, green walls, beach wooden and cantilever umbrellas, etc.

Rainco Managing Director Fazal Fausz elaborating on the latest venture said that architects, interior designers and construction companies could find most of their requirements stocked and imported by them at their store.

“We are a country with endless summer, beautiful beaches with picture perfect out door settings. WOO has a range to compliment every setting for any location,” he said.

He said that they started their outdoor furniture range five years ago as ‘Rainco leisure’ and five months later renamed it as WOO.
He noted the most of the products are customised and woven by hand at their modern factory in Panadura as it is made to fit any location or weather condition.

Recommending the quality of the materials, which includes a wide selection of all season fabric, he said that those are waterproof, frail resistant and designed to look great season after season.

He also added that they are strong in resort and hospitality category as they carry a wide selection for homes and villas.

Customising to local needs WOO also designs, crafts and manufactures products made of synthetic, rattan and teak wood.

Fauz also assured that they offer warranties to customers, which carry either a replacement or repairs of the product.

Further, it was mentioned that all furniture and materials are directly imported from Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Taiwan and Turkey.
