The Professional Women’s Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers (CPM Sri Lanka) recently launched a transformative initiative to provide a career-empowering platform for its members, students, and prospective membership candidates. The ‘Career Coaching Forum 2023’ was held on 04th August from 2.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. at  BMICH.
The forum’s impact was amplified by four speeches delivered by distinguished resource personnel. These speeches not only motivated attendees but also provided valuable insights to guide their professional journeys.

The Inspirational Guest speeches were presented by Ruwanthi Fernando, Chief Information and Process Officer at Hela Clothing (Pvt) Ltd, Kaushalya Hatch, Attorney-at-Law, Partner, Colombo Legal, Michelle De Silva, Senior Manager/Head of Club at Hatton National Bank PLC, and Dilmini Weragama, Director Operations and Supply Chain at Atlas Axillia Co. (Pvt) Ltd.
An addition was the launch of the ‘Mentor Me’ programme yet another initiative by the CPM Professional Women’s Chapter. This programme aims to foster one-on-one mentorship relationships, bridging the experience gap and paving the way for career success.
Highlighting the event’s inclusivity, breakout sessions were tailored to four key sectors: banking, legal, ICT, and engineering. These sessions allowed participants to engage in focused discussions, sharing insights and seeking solutions to industry-specific issues.
