Apollo Tyres, the leading tyre manufacturer, in partnership with the Telangana government, has announced the launch of a Digital Innovation Centre in Hyderabad and Canvas (Pvt.) Ltd, the leading interior design company based out of Sri Lanka, has bagged the mandate to design this innovation hub for Apollo Tyres.

Canvas (Pvt.) Ltd is an award-winning interior design company founded by Interior Designer Chamika Wickremasinghe. It is a leading interior design service company in Sri Lanka, with an extensive and diverse client portfolio ranging from large-scale mixed development projects, corporate interiors, hospitality industry interiors to residential projects. The company has over 10 years’ experience in the industry has built an impressive track record locally as well as globally. In 2021, Canvas won Luxury Lifestyle Award 2021 for Best Luxury Commercial Interior Design and earlier this month, Wickremasinghe won a Gold award at Women Entrepreneur Awards 2022.
Commenting on this partnership with a Global Company, Wickremasinghe said, “We are honoured to be part of this prestigious project for Apollo Tyres and excited to design the interior of the Innovation Hub that will inspire and drive digital transformational for Apollo Tyres.”

As part of Apollo Tyres’ digital strategy to implement Industry 4.0, the Digital Innovation Centre will use new age technologies like IoT, cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), robotic process automation (RPA) and block chain to help develop and deliver new business models and market leading customer service. 
Commenting on the tie-up, Apollo Tyres Ltd Chief Digital Officer Hizmy Hassen said, “Digitalisation is one of the key pillars for achieving our FY26 vision and the setting up of this Digital Innovation Centre, along with the one with London, is part of our digital strategy. We are pleased to tie up with the reputed Sri Lankan interior design company Canvas to bring our vision to life. The Digital Innovation Centre is expected to commence its operations in May 2023.”
