With her charm and energy, we are confident that this new TVC, sporting the brand’s new look, will make waves and deeply resonate with our audience here in Sri Lanka.”
Commenting on the new film, actress Fernandez said, “I’m excited to team up with Pepsi, a brand I’ve always admired and reimagining the timeless Cindy Crawford ad has been a special journey. Bringing this iconic moment back is an honour and I’m thrilled to be part of a campaign that celebrates the spirit of summer with refreshing Pepsi. This campaign is all about fun, energy and enjoyment and I can’t wait for my Sri Lankan fans to experience the excitement it brings. Glad to be part of Pepsi’s revamped bold new look, capturing its iconic essence in a fresh and exciting way.”
The new Pepsi TVC will be amplified via robust 360-degree campaign spanning TV, digital, outdoor and social media. Pepsi is available in single serve and multi serve packs across all modern and traditional retail outlets in Sri Lanka as well as on leading e-commerce platforms.
Mesmerised by Pepsi
The film is set at a secluded vintage gas station where two young boys are seen filling their tanks. A girl on a bike soon pulls over at the gas station.
She is then seen parking her bike and removing her helmet only to reveal that she is Fernandez, sporting cut-off jean shorts and a white tank top.
The film shows Fernandez taking a swig from the Pepsi can. The boys are seen being awestruck and the film keeps you guessing whether they are enthralled by Jacqueline’s presence or by the revamped Pepsi makeover - only to innocently reveal that all this while the boys were mesmerised by Pepsi.
