In an effort to aid the local tourism sector towards a recovery, an exclusive job fair for the industry will kick off come February.

‘The Sri Lanka Tourism Job Fair & Career Expo 2022’ will link together job-seeking private and public university students, graduates, and members of the general public with Travel Agencies, DMCs, Hotels, and other employers in the tourism industry for the first time in Sri Lanka.

The fair will be held on 12 February at the University of Colombo, Department of Economics, Faculty of Arts.

The event is conceptualized ad organized by the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO) Youth in partnership with the Alumni Association of Tourism Economics & Hospitality Management (ATEHM), Department of Economics of the University of Colombo

The event will aim to benefit businesses and individuals by bringing them together to offer long-term careers in the tourism industry which is roaring back to life and in need of the next generation of visionaries.
