Harassed housemaids return
Out of the 101 Sri Lankan women forcibly employed in a cleaning plant in Abudabi Musafa, twelve returned to the island today after being released on an order from the Labour tribunal of Abudabi. The workers are believed to be of the ages between 22 and 38, and are residents of Negombo, Wennappuwa, Gampaha, and Hanwella. Pix by Deepa Adhikari
