At least 400 families were handed dry rations during a program at the Kaduwela Sri Abhayadarshanamaya temple on the advice of the Chief Incumbent Venerable Parapamulle Sirivimala Nayaka Thero. The programme to distribute dry rations was launched developing the friendship between Thailand and Sri Lanka under the leadership of the resident professor of Sanghathan Temple in Thailand, Venerable Lanka kumara Thero and Khun Prasert Lert-assavalak. The coordination between the two countries for this hosting program was done by Manohara Silva.
