Nine Arches Bridge. Big deal for Sri Lanka tourist industry. But actually this bridge is not such a big deal when put beside some of the UK railway viaducts entirely brick and mortar construction, or in stone and mortar. Example: Welland Railway Viaduct, 1,275 yards long, 82 arches, each with a 40 foot span. Construction started 1875, completed 1878. Nine Arches Bridge: 300 foot long, 9 spans, completed in 1919. The location of the bridge over a gorge in a mountain region is definitely picturesque.

What is this ? Disrupting public transport and inconveniencing the citizens ?? I wonder whether we are allowed to disrupt Indian Railways for filming. What kind of an administration is this.

@ what is this ??? - please grow up. Don’t be a frog in a well. Are you aware of the amount of income this filming will contribute towards Sri Lanka ? The producers will pay, worldwide advertisement to mother Lanka, tourist will flock into this place to see this beautiful place, board and lodgings etc.

Look at the status of the train. It is so ugly. President Anura Kumara - please pay attention to the status of the train and the area. Keep the area CLEAN all the time.

mountain side soil is exposed flora all gone. heavy rains will take the topsoil away which take few years to recover . hope the money will be spent on this. to minimize this.
