A female soldier of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps is seen giving the Pfizer Covid 19 vaccine to a local student who is going overseas for higher education, at the Army hospital in Colombo today. Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said the government directed to give the Pfizer vaccine to nearly one thousand students who are going abroad for higher education as most countries do not allow them to enter without the Pfizer vaccine. After all, these are the poor children who did not have signal and had to climb trees and mountains in order to do online studies. If the Govt cannot help them they have to go to some other country to continue their studies. Please do not envy them.

Way to Go! We should aim sending at least 20% of our student population abroad in medium to long term! That will ease pressure on unemployment, currency exchanges...etc.
