Appointment letters given to Northern teachers

Letters of permanent appointment were given to more than 400 teachers for schools in the Northern Province today, March 28 2018. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe stressed at the event that resolving issues in education sector was a time consuming process. Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, State Minister of Education V. Radhakrishnan and Governor, Northern Province Reginald Cooray were also present. Pix by Pradeep Pathirana

Kindly make an immediate action to give the appointments for all graduates who has passed the national school teaching exam 2018. After you select the graduates to the relevant subject other exam passed graduates appoint to the relevant schools to teach the relevant subject. Many vacancies are existing at the schools because of the lack of teachers for main subjects. Students are going to the tuition and they have no chance to gain that knowledge from their schools. Don’t waste time of the young educated generation and take an immediate action please.
