It looks that Sri Lankan bus drivers are experiencing a bus accident session now these days ..one by one goes down ? So scary to go on these buses now ?.why this sudden accidents? Who's fault is it ?. Drivers ? Roads? Ministry of transport? Police ? Poor vehicle conditions?

It does not take an Einstein to know what would have caused this. If you stand on any main road you can watch these road terrorists who intimidate people with their loud horns, tailgating and driving at way above the speed limit often on even the wring side of the road. The police are deaf and blind, and will stop and charge soft targets for what is in comparison these offences. How many of these buses are owned by persons connected to the police and politicians? The reason for this mayhem wil be in the answer to that question.

People: This sadly is what we have become of a society. From the motor cycle to a truck driver they are all the same. In a hurry to get ahead of the other. Just watch the powerful people drive in their entourage of security personnel. No road manners, knowledge of rules, courtesy to others, etc. Go examine the mansions the motor car examiners live in. Obviously, they do not get paid that much? One could get a license to operate a vehicle on public roads without even visiting a RMV office in SL.

It's better to stop all privet bus services and bring it under one institute with fully supervision.these steps allows to prohibit enter any kind of individuals to provide services.and it would allow all our bus services with new technologies and innovative systems.its so sad that our bus services are still look like somewhere in Africa

Bus drivers should be spot checked for drug and alcohol use. If found , cancel their license with a mandatory jail term with heavy work and rehabilitation. People pay taxes , instead of funding foreign trips of wives of politicians like Manusha Nanayakkara , use the funds to rehabilitation of these drivers.
