The ceremonial inauguration of the new Midigama Police Station took place recently in line with the concept of establishing new police stations under President Gotabaya Rajapaksa's Vision of Prosperity policy.

It was inaugrated by Minister Chamal Rajapaksa at the Midigama Tsunami village. Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena hoisted the National Flag, Minister Rajapaksa hoisted the Provincial Flag and M.D. Rajitha Sri Daminda hoisted the Police Flag.
