With the decision taken by the Environment Ministry and the Central Environment Authority over the protection of the environment and emission testing, the air in Colombo city has become breathable and clear. Meanwhile, along with the celebration of one year after the opening of the Lotus Tower, several developments have taken place to increase the entertainment of the people. Accordingly, the kids' areas, open-air theatres, and innovative centres will earn more revenue and offer people different types of experiences.

Whole people go hungry and people don't have money to feed their children...what is the use of this view and what is it for ? Do you really make enough money to pay back interest and loans This is the result of the political stupidity of MR and co ? They destroyed the country for the sake of unsustainable development? In name of the development they looted money and in the name of the development they destroyed the ecology and environment. Look how elephants kill people ? I wish elephants go to MR village too in down south?

It sounds like a macabre joke when you read that with the new Lotus Tower the people of SL can be offered more entertainment and experiences!!! I have been in the country for a few days and I see and experience first hand the misery and suffering of the people and the cost of living, which has risen astronomically for Sri Lankan standards! For forty years I have known this wonderful Sri Lanka in almost all the facets that this country has to offer! I buy my groceries every day and see prices that are sometimes higher than the prices in Germany! How is an average family supposed to live with an unchanged low salary! What does the world of the poor and the poorest look like!!! What has harmful and criminal politics done here over the years, mainly by the Rajapaksas family clan!!! And this irresponsible policy continues under Ranil Wickremesigne in a slightly different way with incredible demands on people!!! All politicians must suffer from insomnia!!!
