A community kitchen activity, which benefits 2,500 families, will be run daily for 40 days starting January 1 at Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Temple. The aim of this program is to improvise the economic status by rendering humanitarian assistance to families through welfare programs such as creating self-employment opportunities, providing professional training etc., It will be conducted under the auspices of Gangarama Viharaya Donor Council headed by Ven.
