Privatise railways and encourage competition. Strikers who disrespect the public deserve to be jobless.

They should strike against the train crew who made the accident 4 days back on a straight line and made an enormous loss to their own assets. Engine drivers are earning over 200k without O/T and that money is spent on boozing. They keep the bottles in the Engine itself. What a service !!

What this country needs, is a military dictatorship that can enforce order and discipline by the bayonet. Independence, democracy and liberalism have only created a race of corrupt hypocrites with a sense of entitlement.

Dam shame that this country never respects and values its citizens. The greatest asset a nation has is its own citizens and Sri Lanka has for the past 70 years kidnapped, raped, tortured, burned alive, killed, harassed, intimidated, robbed, plundered, disrespected, hurt, and inconvenienced its citizens. It's very very sad. I have always felt very sad for the innocent people who are suffering in Sri Lanka. The political system definitely needs a drastic change.

What a beautiful country which is blessed with all needs of the people. Our politicians are destroying this country. They incapable and corrupted from president to the lowest who are ruling this country.
