Defeat for Aragalaya n victory for Ranil. Shocking to see Dallas revd only 82 votes. Doubt whether SLFP supporters cast their votes except a handful. Wimals party n the breakaway independent MPs of govt would hv voted for Ranil who is lucky being elected Prez, but without ppls' mandate. This could be a world record. There are flaws in our constitution. High time 19A is reinstated immediately giving power to the legislature. All parties should now work to give essentials, fuel, gas etc to the ppl n revive the country's economy. Include members of Aragalaya to the APG

Business as usual must stop. Many among the MP have a poor record. Without a change in the system there cannot be progress.

Will the new president implement the 19A? Now he is the executive president, I bet he will not.

Sam Pillai! We - You and I voted for these bogus heroes. They did not vote for themselves. None of us know why we voted for them. Can we blame anyone else except ourselves?
