Our politicos take loans to enrich themselves. It's a discipline to pay back the money that was taken on loan, but we don't pay, instead we go with a crowd asking loans be reduced. What people we have in our country.

These Chinese embassies around the world are puppets. They carry out instructions from their big bosses in China. They may have got orders to not accept any from SL citizens.

China was one of our few supporters in the UN, and UNHCR. China likely expects full payment plus interest for their continuing support for us at the UN. I saw Ranil want India and China to get through discussion quickly, he is seeming senile. Maybe he want to throw away their future support by wanting them not to get back 100% of what's owed. If we lose China, then all our military will become labelled war criminals.
