DWLC is a dead Department. DG/Directors must take responsibility for failing to protect these Gems. Utterly inefficient Department !! Bring it under AKD and appoint a good Retired Army General to manage it. Implement no Policy for Conservation !!

Heartbreaking news. Another majestic soul lost from Mother Lanka. It’s hard to point fingers, but what’s clear is that we’ve lost a treasure. Many big countries in the world don’t have the privilege of seeing these incredible beings roaming free. This gentle giant chose our little island as its home—let’s strive to protect and coexist with these magnificent creatures who share our land.

I am so so saddened by this. Going to his USUAL HABITAT, humans have encroached and denied life to this gentle giant.
