Good to see the IGP and MP Wijedasa Rajapakse at the this sort of event. This country has no future unless more poeple at the top start respecting and practicing the true teachings of the buddha..it is simple as that.

The Venerable Ajahn Sumedho is the chief western disciple of Ajahn Chah. Ven Thera was born in the US and had become a member of US medical corp in the korean war when he was 18. He had first come to know about Buddhism during this period, by reading books of Japanese Zen Buddhist Author D.T. Suzuki.
