Look at them happily taking selfies. They are getting paid by whom? Useless guys anyway, they do not teach anything at schools. So why should they get more pay?

Ranil is hopeful of winning election with all these brutal acts. Police are also embarrassed as some of the Police Officers have their wives employed as teachers. The issues raised by the teachers should have been addressed by the Minister. For the failure of the Minister the teachers acted on their rights provided by the Constitution

A completely wrong and unprofessional reaction to the protest. This police operation brings the greatest possible attention, as the union wants. It would have been professional to let the people demonstrate in peace without a police presence.
