Politicians must take responsibility. No proper drainage, drains not maintained, illegal constructions all of them contribute to this situation. The flood situation would have been milder if a proper drainage system was in place, blocked drains cleaned regularly and those responsible for illegal constructions prosecuted

It is either drought or floods. One of the reasons for flooding is the filling of natural drainage systems. City planners have not done their duty.
