Education Minister Susil Premajayantha met German Member of Parliament Ms. Ria Schroder today at the Parliament. 

Ms. Ria Schroder is also a member of the Committee on Education, Research, Technology and Evaluation in Germany.

During the meeting, Minister Premajayantha updated the German MP on the performance of the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute, which is operating under the patronage of the German government.

Measures that can be taken to further expand the teaching of the German language in Sri Lankan schools were also discussed.
