All these tankers and very long containers carrying dangerous substances are plying the busy roads in Colombo and suburbs during peak traffic hours. While they always cause traffic jams,there is also a potential danger as you have seen here. The authorities should take swift action to restrict heavy transportation vehicles to (say) from 12.00 midnight upto 3.00 am.
