Increase the frequency of garbage collection plus the clearing of trash along road sides too. Many a time, these garbage will collect water and eventually breed mosquitoes. Incentivise part-timers to become Health Inspectors and Thrash collectors. Also, fine litterbugs and those breeding mosquitoes heavily to fund these workers. Another area is those who commit minor crimes should do more community time (at least 500 hours or more) cleaning up public areas nearest to their residence or work place.

Can the PHI solve the problem in Mattakkuliya Keels Housing Scheme where an opened drainage without any cover. Here mosquitoes breed in vast numbers, adjoining the jungle where dangerous animals, reptiles visible always e.g.Large Water Monitors, Large Snakes.Keels management doed not look into this for a long time.PHI visits only inside the houses but outside they ignore.

DENGUE CANNOT BE CONTROLLED BY TRYING TO ELIMINATE MOSQUITOES. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE. BRING THE VACCINE AND GIVE IMMUNITY TO THE POPULATION AT RISK.
