France’s finest bread maker reads Daily Mirror after arrival

Darshan Selvaraj, who has been awarded the contract to supply his bakery products to the French President's House for a period of one year after being elected as the best "Baguette" bread producer in France in 2023, arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport this morning.

While at the airport Mr. Selvaraj was seen reading his article which was published in the Daily Mirror newspaper.

Selvaraj, a resident of the Thellipalai area of Jaffna, came to the country along with his two children and his wife for a three-week visit to Sri Lanka. Pix by T.K.G. Kapila

One should ask why he left Sri Lanka. When they do good things people appreciate them. But I am sure there is a clear reason for his departure to France. Anyway, I am very proud about him.

The people of Sri Lanka, regardless of whether they are of Sinhala, Tamil, Muslim or other origin, have a huge potential to achieve great things! This proves the history of this wonderful country! Sri Lanka has World Class Doctors, World Class Engineers, World Class Businessmen, World Class Artists, World Class Skilled Technicians, World Class Cooks and World Class Crooks too, and sadly almost all of the Crooks are in the Sri Lankan Government and in the Government Offices. Unfortunately Sri Lanka has no World Class Politicians...........!
