If SLPP MPs so up for the now resigned President, maybe they should ask one of their National List MPs to vacate to let him in. Or do they really want Gota to contest again as the SLPP President next election?

You can become the President again provided if you make a honest attempt for your family to to return the hoarded wealth of this country invested in other countries under your faithful abroad. Why Singapore refused to extend his stay after four weeks ? To understand this you have to look at the history of Singapore and Malaysia. Singapore and Malaysia together known as Malaya was a British Colony. British staff went to China and India and recruited thousands of them and brought them to Singapore and Malaysia to work as labourers. But Britain needed people to do “ brainy work” in both Singapore and Malaysia. They searched the whole of the British empire and found the answer only in Jaffna. Thousands Tamils from Jaffna were recruited by the British to go and work as Civil Servants, School Teachers , Station Masters, and Rubber Estate Supervisors. Thus while the Jaffna Tamils served in the respectable jobs, the Indians and the Chinese were just labourers. But soon after Britain left the Chinese by their numerical superiority exerted control in Singapore. But still the decedents of Jaffna Tamils hold top positions and have lot of influence specially in Singapore.

He is a failed politician and yet some people are still behind him ...why is it ? What is the reason for this ? Is it any personal affiliation or Friendships? Or some political suicide of All those behind him? He is rejected by people and get some are supporting him like this ? Ranil and co are supporting him to stay in power . Ranil knows that he can't stay in power without his support...134 are from SLPP so Ranil must be counting his days . In politics anything could happen ..friends become enemies and enemies become friends for politics ..

Gota elected purely on Sinhala Buddhist votes, served his voters, who turned against him and ousted him, due to his fertiliser policy, a failed president should now engage to alleviate poverty which was engineered by him, he should not hold any portfolios in the government.

Why should tax payers money be used to maintain such faile politicians. The perks of all state officials must be based on performance not free santhosam. Magority blame GR for sri Lanka crises no any of 225 the real damages come from others not GR is not a corrupt caliber for sure earning commission gifts part of our culture i don't think he took any public finance or mismanaged any with his knowledge. Misleading mismanagement corruption by others who have been involved for long period evenchualy got in to the mess and bank crupsy its impossible for a any country to get in to situation like sri lanka in matter of months or years.....
