It is sad to see where 'Sangha' has gone today. This is not the role of a Buddhist monk by any means. I presume that Mangala was correct. Becoming a monk is a lucrative profession as it is practiced in SL now. SL politicians are responsible for the demise starting from SWRD. Did Waloila Rahula thera mean this when he wrote 'Bhikkuwakage Urumaya'?
