The Global Lifestyle Lanka as part of their social responsibility commitments recently held events of tree planting in several areas of Thimbirigasyaaya and Colombo Municipal Council Jurisdiction under the theme “Haritha Saviya”.

These programs were conducted jointly with the Hulftsdorp Community Correctional Office and the Thimbirigasyaya Divisional Secretariat. These group of projects were co organized under the coordination of Development Officer (Community Corrections) Mr. Sanjeewa Wanniarachchi.

First stage was commenced on 19th February 2021 at the Nagaswatta Child Development Center premises.

The second stage of the program was carried out on March 16, 2021 at the Archbishop's House Borella, the official residence of Rev. Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith at the in Borella.

The third phase was held on March 30, 2021 at seven premises focusing on the Kirulapone Sithumina Hall, which is under the purview of the Department of Sports and Hobbies division of the Colombo Municipal Council.

Global Lifestyle Lanka has contributed with several projects continuously and this initiative is part of several programs conducted in giving back to nature and communities and will continue these types of projects in the future.
