Heading home for the long weekend and in anticipation of unrest, so they don't want to be in a position where they cannot travel home. Like during covid.

These pictures speaks a lot about our politics. I hope all these people have some kind of common sense about politics. As the deadline for the canvassing has already expired and I do not want to persuade any one to vote any particular party. All what I want to say here is that all these pictures speak a lot about the quality of our transport. I feel sorry to all these people. I have experienced this in 1980s when I used to go home from COLOMBO many times. I'm sorry to say that in 45 years nothing change in our transport. A little change in trains and some buses but 90% people suffer from poor Transporte

This shows the people of Sri Lanka wants a peaceful, prosperous and a better future for them and their children. Hoping the President elected will bring them a better life than the years of suffering they under went due to neglect, soring cost of living , drug problem, rouge politicians and law and order maintained according to the status and wealth.

Hopefully in future these people would not have to come to Colombo and live like 2nd class citizens when NPP ensured equitable distribution of public money and resources rather than spending most everything in Colombo which has been going on since independence
